On 20 May 2025, the shareholders of Creutz & Partners approved a significant governance shift: the introduction of a dualistic leadership structure with an Executive Board and a Supervisory Board.
After more than 25 years at the helm, Founder Marcel Creutz and Founding Partner Lars Soerensen have handed over operational leadership. Both remain closely connected to the firm, continuing to support the new leadership team with their insight and strategic perspective.
At the center of this generational transition is Yves Creutz, formerly Managing Director and Member of the Board, now appointed Chairman of the Executive Board (CEO). He is joined by Thomas Deutz, newly appointed to the Executive Board.
The day-to-day management is further strengthened by Katja Groven, a long-standing team member, who steps into the role of Managing Director.
Yves’s sister, Gaëtane Creutz, formerly a Member of the Board, now chairs the newly established Supervisory Board – joined by Esther Wagener and Michael Kalscheuer, who bring valuable expertise and perspective to the newly formed body.
The new structure:
Supervisory Board
Gaëtane Creutz (Chair)
Esther Wagener
Michael Kalscheuer
Executive Board
Yves Creutz (Chair)
Thomas Deutz
Supported in daily management by Katja Groven, Sascha Klein, Rainer Mohr and Dirk Pottmann.
Marcel Creutz reflects:
"I’m proud to hand over responsibility to the very best – including my son Yves as Chairman of the Executive Board and my daughter Gaëtane as Chair of the Supervisory Board. We remain what we have always been: a values-driven, family-led firm supported by more than 50 dedicated colleagues."
