Rasmus Kofoed ***

Rasmus Kofoed, from the restaurant »Geranium« in Copenhagen, is not only considered the best chef in Denmark, but one of the best worldwide. In addition to his current rating of 3 Michelin stars, he was the only chef worldwide to win a gold, silver and bronze medal at the renowned »Bocuse d’Or« competition. His dishes exhibit an extraordinary degree of refinement, enthusiasm and taste. At its core, his culinary art is inspired by new Nordic cuisine, but he would like to free himself from the dogma of an unconditional regional focus. Kofoed’s efforts in the service of culinary aesthetics and harmony are not only evident in his personality and his dishes, but also in his restaurant. The beautifully lit »Geranium« is situated on the eighth floor of the soccer stadium, offering a fantastic view of the Fælledparken and the roofs of Copenhagen. It was a great honour to welcome Rasmus Kofoed to »Villa Louise«.
