From his living room to the world of Michelin-starred cuisine — and all the way to Villa Louise.

Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming chef Karl-Louis Kömmler to Villa Louise for a truly exceptional culinary experience shared with our guests.

His inspiring journey began in his own living room with a small “supper club” that quickly evolved into one of Berlin’s most successful dining concepts. Soon after, Karl-Louis and host Mical Rosenblat opened the restaurant “Loumi”. Entirely self-taught and without any formal culinary training, they were awarded a Michelin star within a remarkably short time.

At Villa Louise, we had the opportunity to discover Karl-Louis’ European-Japanese inspired cuisine: elegantly understated, deeply product-focused, and driven by pure enjoyment. A truly memorable day that will stay with our guests for a long time to come.
