Since 1997, Hans van Wolde has been the head chef and co-owner of the Beluga restaurant in Maastricht. Beluga has always been among the top 3 restaurants in the Netherlands and has one of the most creative kitchens in Europe. Hans van Wolde cooked up his first Michelin star in Beluga in 1998. The second Michelin star followed in 2005.
