Together with his culinary soul mate and sommelier, Joachim Boudens, De Mangeleer purchased a Flemish farm in 2010, adding a state-of-the-art extension in the process. The result is a location marked by its sustainability, where they can grow their own seasonal fruit and vegetables, allowing them to guarantee the very best high-end products. Numerous awards, including being named the »Best European Chef of 2014«, 18.5 Gault Millau points and magnificent 3 Michelin stars are proof of De Mangeleer’s remarkable talent. It was a great pleasure for us to be able to experience the intensely flavoured combination of modern sophistication, superb craftsmanship and excellent products at the »Villa Louise«.
