In September 2025, renowned chef Floris van der Veken from the renowned restaurant “Hof van Cleve” prepared a special menu for our guests at Villa Louise.
Hof van Cleve in Kruisem (Belgium) was founded in 1992 by Peter Goossens and his wife Lieve on the grounds of the former Cleve family estate – hence the name Hof van Cleve. The restaurant was awarded three Michelin stars continuously from 2005 until the end of 2023.
Floris Van der Veken, who had long served as head chef at Hof van Cleve, took over management of the restaurant in early 2024. Continuing its tradition, he was immediately awarded two Michelin stars. His cuisine masterfully combines classic French-Belgian traditions with subtle Asian influences.
